Hey, I’m Daniel. I’m a NY & NJ wedding photographer who incorporates fresh, contemporary techniques to create dramatic portraits for couples on their wedding day.

My imagery is a combination of cinematic portraiture & true-to-life photos that capture the essence of your story.

Let’s be honest. There are plenty of opportunities for cookie-cutter photos on your wedding day which is why I prefer to deliver more cinematic portraits.

Meet Daniel

Hang over your fireplace as a testament to your best day ever

Show your grandkids so they can post a #throwbackthursday showing off how cool their grandparents are

Share with your friends, family, and favorite barista to show off how epic your day was.

These are portraits you’ll want to…

Let’s get those amazing images off your screen and properly displayed in an heirloom album or fine printed wall art to be shared and revisited for decades.

Bringing Photos to life

Bringing reliable and talented team members who help capture moments as they unfold from multiple angles, simultaneously. Second photographers help cover multiple locations on a wedding day. In addition, a lighting assistant joins me who specializes in providing the proper lighting needed to create your dramatic portraits.

The Process

Daniel and his team are personable and easy-going which instantly made us feel comfortable so there were no awkward or stiff photos. On top of that, Daniel artistic eye added more character to our wedding album - adding eye-catching backgrounds, great poses, and capturing all of the authentic love and happiness of the night. Our wedding album is a true treasure for us, and we love our pictures so much that we have difficulty picking which ones to get printed to put on our walls. All in all, I would enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!”

“DTJ Photography was wholeheartedly THE BEST investment we made in our wedding planning.

This all depends on the logistics of your day, and also if you want more perspective from your photos. Some more intimate weddings taking place in one location can totally be covered by one photographer. The larger weddings that last 10-12 hours and have multiple locations for the couple’s prep however usually need the second shooter coverage. This ensures all the important parts of your day like prep, first look, and groom’s reaction at ceremony are being covered.
